It's a huge goal of mine to semi-retire while our kids are still in school and take them on a educational trip around the world. I want to take them to see things that will humble them, that will allow them to feel gratitude for the country and circumstances of our lives, I want to take them to museums and 3rd world countries and rich countries and Wall Street and some of the 7 wonders of the world, and to show them more of God's beautiful creations. I want them to learn the joys and struggles of serving others. Of sharing the gospel with complete strangers and that you can have a ball with your very own family!
I also want to make sure my kids get to go to any college that will take them. I never even considered leaving Idaho/Utah because the expense. A good education is imperitive, but showing your kids there are no limits to what they can do and where they can go is priceless!
I dream about having a big beautiful yard that has a huge garden. I want my kids to learn the relationship between work and reward. Granted, a farm (the way I learned) would be a great way to teach them this, but I think a garden would work just fine.
I dream of being able to decorate my house some day. (those of you who have seen my house understand) Right now there are huge bare walls. The same color through out my house on the floor and on the walls. I want to be able to find my creative side and practice using it in my own home and yard.
So you may wonder why on Earth, I would share the deepest and most tender parts of my heart. It is because I want everyone to know what I'm working towards when I tell you that I'm trying to build something. I'm not being greedy or money hungry, I'm just setting goals for a few simple and very real dreams. I have seen an opportunity to accomplish my dreams with a company called Prepaid Legal. I encourage everyone to think about your dreams and goals and if you are open to a business opporuntiy I would love to be one to share some information with you. If not, that's totally fine by me, but you should still dream and set goals because that's what keeps us alive and keeps our spirits young no matter what age we are.
