Hey, you can't be too hard on me, Aunt Jen and Jeniel! It hasn't even been 3 months yet! So I just want to talk about how much I love being Riley's mom. She is so funny, so spontaneous, so sweet and so considerate. I don't think I deserve a daughter like her, but what a blessing she is! For example, this morning I was working on the computer and she was pushing in and out the DVD player and I was getting really frustrated. I got mad at her and she said "Fine, I'm leaving, I'm going to my room" I thought to myself, "Thank goodness, now I can get something done" Well about a minute later she came in all sweet and happy, but was very frank with me, "Mom, you shouldn't yell at me okay" I said she was absouletly right and that I was so sorry" She told me "It's alright, Mom" Man...talk about the lessons she teaches me every day. Also, if I don't celebrate when Greg gets home, she continues to tell me, Mom dad's home, mom dad's home until I show that I'm excited and say yeah, Dad's home! and give him a big hug and kiss.
She is a great kid...love her to death!
